Continuing in the new-retro style of Whiskey Kiss' sophomore album Retro. Revamped., this new single "Echoes" is a sexy, voodoo-surf number of lust and longing. Musically, this song is more dynamic than any of their previous releases. Though the roots sound is prominent with rhythmic saxophone and the unmistakable upright bass, there are pop touches and refreshing changes throughout. This song is more accessible to all listeners, though their die-hard retro fans will be plenty satisfied.
